Aitkens Pewter  Handcrafted in Atlantic Canada since 1972; decades later, our touchmark still represents the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every piece we make. At Aitkens Pewter, we employ the time-honoured methods of spinning and casting. Coasters, frames, jewellery, and ornaments are cast in rubber molds. Hollowware-mugs, goblets, vases and bowls are spun on a lathe. Pre-cast handles and stems are soldered into place. Finally, the piece is hand-polished, tumbled in stones, or buffed. Our pewter pieces will actually improve with age. They won't rust, tarnish or affect the taste of food or drink, and require little maintenance. (NB)

Canadian Snow Sculpture Team  Sculptors of both snow and sand, we craft sculptures intended to create a sense of wonder and surprise, both in the subject matter and use of the medium. With the sculptures being of such an ethereal nature, we strive to create images which will live long in the memory of the viewer. We create snow sculptures and ice sculptures for international competitions, events and commissions, do snow and ice sculpture consultations, and host snow sculpting workshops. (BC)

Cast in Stone Vases  John Quinn is a Salt Spring Island artist with truly unique methods of working with natural stone that incorporate elements of stone masonry, lapidary and mosaic. He produces natural stone vases accented with semi-precious gemstones. The vases are weighty and watertight to provide great support for extravagant floral displays.
