Custom Portraits by Melody Starkweather I create custom portraits in acrylic on canvas and graphite pencil on paper of all subjects - predominantly people and pets. I graduated from the University of Toronto with honours in 2006, with a Bachelor Degree in Visual Studies and Art History, however I've always made art, from a very young age. I find portraiture particularly gratifying, as the art really comes alive; I pride myself on accurately capturing the true essence of each subject, so that he or she truly inhabits the painting or drawing.
