The images on their functional pottery are brightly coloured, designs touch on the favourite things in their lives, the garden, food and humour. The peaceful, fruitful landscape of southwestern Ontario has inspired Lesley to create white one of a kind sculptural/functional vessels, each is unique. Enjoy Blue Rooster pottery to celebrate your lives and do nothing in moderation! (ON)
Sara Bonnyman Pottery Presenting unique, hand-thrown Nova Scotia functional stoneware from the Moss Scuttle, Blueberry, Sunflower and Contemporary collections, and hand hooked rugs. I have a passion to throw pots and I share that age old belief that the true joy of handmade pottery is in holding it, feeling the spirit of the clay as it holds whatever small pleasure you have chosen to use the pot for. Cape Breton Clay Each of Bell Fraser's and Stewart Applegath's clay works comes out of a chain of time-consuming processes. The fish or shellfish, which are molded from clay, reflect the bounty of the waters surrounding Cape Breton Island. Unlike the work involved in making other types of pottery, the application, painting and glazing of these 'critters' adds time and complexity to the fabrication of each piece. Aside from the rich detail evident on the creatures, the navy-blue glazed surfaces are hand-applied in three successive coats by brush, rather than by dipping. The cumulative results of these processes are works that are complex, elegant and beautiful. (NS)

maripottery Maripottery creates, sells and teaches exceptional pottery. I work with many techniques to produce many different styles and types of pottery: functional, pueblo, lattice work, raku, and traditional Hungarian. For me the vast range of styles and techniques developed across a multitude of cultures and periods presents too great an opportunity for expression to ignore or to limit myself to one or two. I must explore and embrace as much as I possibly can. (BC)
Lara Melnik - Polymer Clay Artist Lara has been making unique jewellery for many years. Her obsession with beads has driven her to create her own, using polymer clay and the ancient Italian technique of millefiori canework. She has a strong attraction to striking colours and this is evident in her recent exploration of the medium. Lara has been creating small landscapes and abstracts by blending and layering the clay. Texture, colour and relief play an important role in these scenes and three-dimensional wall sculptures. Tiny gardens and forests of whimsical mushrooms seem to "grow" right out of the wall. Lara is happy making art that puts a smile on someone's face. (YT)
