Many of the farms listed below have onsite farm shops, offer farm tours, or farm stays, and a few even offer retreats. So if you are travelling this year, and want a special treat, call ahead to arrange a mill tour, or stop by a fibre or wool farm, and meet the owners and animals who produce the fine quality fibres mentioned below.

A&B Fiberworks  At A&B Fiberworks we produce alpaca and alpaca blend rovings and yarns. We also produce a variety of wool rovings from a variety of our local sheep farms. We do custom processing of alpaca, wool, llama and mohair. (Linden, AB)

Alpaca Unlimited  We take great pride in the fact that our alpaca fleece is hand processed. From shearing it is carefully hand washed using no chemicals. From there it is hand combed and hand carded to produce the best possible spinable fibre. Our goal is to produce yarn and garments that can be worn time after time. Irish Hills Farm Apsley  We free range our sheep the old fashioned, natural way. I process the wool and offer for sale all natural, organic wools, as well as hand-dyed, handspun art yarns, beautiful hides and other handmade wool creations. We have a farm market open throughout summer months in Apsley. I am a member of the Apsley Area Studio Tour which takes place in September. Lismore Sheep Farm Wool Shop  At Lismore Sheep Farm we use wool to create a wide range of products, some of which include ~ wool blankets, wool filled comforters, wool mattress pads, yarn, hand knit sweaters, socks, hats, mitts, to name a few. We also carry a variety of sheepskin products ~ mitts, slippers, seatbelt covers, dusters, insoles. Wild Wind Naturals  Our wee fibre farm is located just south of Douglas, Manitoba. Our three alpaca boys provide us with amazing fleece, while our llama boy Jock takes care of them. We offer fibre products ranging from raw fleece to spinning fibres, including hand dyed top, to luscious batts, all the way to yarn, and finished items. Susan processes all her fibre products in her shop, right from washing to carding and dying, and spinning. Susan also creates hand woven shawls and shawlettes on her tri-looms, and knits and crochets beautiful scarves, hats and more.
